2019年5月8日凌晨，2019年谷歌I/O开发者大会召开。会上，谷歌推出了两款手机新品——Pixel 3a和Pixel 3aXL，谷歌称3a续航可达30小时。

Pixel 3a配备5.6英寸的2220×1080分辨率OLED显示屏（Pixel 3a XL屏幕为6英寸），配备4G+64G存储组合，搭载骁龙670处理器。Pixel 3a售价为399美元，Pixel 3a XL售价为479美元。

配色方面，Pixel 3a拥有白色、黑色、浅紫色三种机身配色颜色。后置采用单摄像头，支持暗光拍摄。现场谷歌放出了新机与iPhone X的暗光样张作对比，并表示拍摄效果超出了iPhone X。

在电池方面，谷歌宣称Pixel 3a单次充电续航可达30个小时，而充电15分钟可通话7小时。

在隐私保护上，谷歌称Pixel 3a也达到了最高水平的内置安全机制。同时，谷歌表示骚扰电话Google Assistant可以智能拦截。

值得一提的是，该机前后摄像头均支持人像模式，并保留有3.5mm耳机接口。

据悉，这两款手机会在美国、日本、印度等13个市场销售。此外，谷歌还与Verizon、T-Mobile和Sprint达成了合作，可以通过这三大运营商的渠道购买此次新品。

Google Pixel 3a XL Android Smartphone was launched in 2019, May. It is running on the Qualcomm SDM710 Snapdragon 710 (10 nm) processor with Adreno 615 GPU. The phone has 4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage which is not expandable.

The Google Pixel 3a XL has a 6 inches, 1080 x 2160 pixels display with a pixel density of 402 ppi. It has Gorilla Glass protection as well. Coming to cameras, it has a 12.2 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera for selfies. It has a USB Type-C port for data syncing and charging. There is a notification LED present on the Google Pixel 3a XL as well, along with a fingerprint sensor, magnetic field sensor (compass), gyroscope sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and accelerometer sensor. It is a single SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, USB OTG, Wi-Fi and GPS too.

The Google Pixel 3a XL runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) and all this is powered by a 3700 mAh battery. It measures 160.1 x 76.1 x 8.2 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 167 grams including battery.
